In short: Returns Portal keeps return requests in collections on the store's own Wix site. We do not sell the data and do not share it with anyone else, and the app sends no emails of its own. Wix hosts the site and its data under Wix's own terms.

Who we are

Returns Portal ("the App") is an app for Wix Stores sites, distributed through the Wix App Market. It is made by Rishabh Chulet, an independent developer in India trading as Creet ("the Developer", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data the App processes when a shopper asks for a return or an exchange on a Wix Stores site where the App is installed.

The store owner who installed the App decides how returns are handled for that store, and is responsible for what the store does with its shoppers' data. We provide the software.

Data the App processes

• The order number and the internal order ID.
• The buyer's email address, typed by the shopper and checked against the order.
• The order's line items: product and variant names and quantities and, for exchanges, the product and variant the shopper chose.
• The reason for each returned item and the resolution asked for (refund, exchange or store credit).
• The shopper's note, of up to 500 characters.
• The request's status and history, with timestamps.
• Refund, exchange, store credit and return shipping details entered or created by the store owner, for example the return address, carrier, tracking number and label link, the refund amount, the replacement order and the code of a gift card issued as store credit (kept so the store owner can pass it to the shopper, including in the store owner's own Wix Automations emails).
• Counters of failed lookups, used to limit repeated guessing. Each counter is stored under a SHA-256 hash of the client's IP address, of the order number or of the email address, and holds a count and the time of the first failure. It does not hold the raw values.

Where the data is stored

In app-owned data collections on the store owner's Wix site: the return requests, the failed-lookup counters and the store's return rules. Only the store owner, staff with access to the site's dashboard and the App itself can read this data. After a shopper enters an order number and the matching email, the shopper sees the status of their own requests and the store's return instructions.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not share personal data with third parties, and the App does not send shoppers' details to any service outside Wix.
• The App does not send emails. It reports each status change to the store owner's Wix Automations, which the store owner controls. What is sent, from which address and to whom is the store owner's choice.
• The App does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services.

What others collect

• Wix: Wix hosts the store and its data, and bills the store owner for the App's paid plan. Payments and refunds go through Wix and the store's payment providers. Wix does all of this under its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to the store's data as they do to everything else on the site. See Wix's privacy policy.
• The store: the store you bought from handles your return, and your order and contact details, under its own privacy policy.
• Email support: if you write to support@creet.in, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to answer you. Please do not send card numbers, bank details or passwords.

How long data is kept

• Return requests and their history: for as long as the App is installed on the store's site.
• Failed-lookup counters: each counter covers a one-hour window. When the hour is over it no longer limits anything and starts again the next time that key fails a lookup. Counters hold hashes only.
• After removal: uninstalling the App stops it processing data. Wix hosts the site's data under its own terms, including after an uninstall.
• Support emails: kept for as long as needed to help you, and deleted on request.

Deleting your data

To ask for your return requests to be deleted, email support@creet.in or contact the store you bought from. Include your order number and the email address you used. We will delete the records we can reach and ask the store owner to remove the rest.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. To use them, contact the store you bought from, or email support@creet.in.

Children

Returns Portal is a tool for stores and is not directed at children.

Changes

If a future version of the App changes what it stores or sends, this page will say so with a new date before that version is released. The date at the top shows the latest version.
