1. The service

ITR Desk ("the Extension") is a browser productivity tool for the Income Tax e-Filing portal. It is provided by an independent developer in India (the "Operator"). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Income Tax Department, the Central Board of Direct Taxes or the Government of India.

2. Free and Pro plans

The free plan is available without payment. Pro features are unlocked with a licence key purchased through Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller for the transaction. A Pro licence is valid for one practitioner and may be activated on up to three browsers at a time. Pricing is shown on the website and at checkout.

3. Your responsibilities

• You remain responsible for every action taken on the portal, including logins, submissions and payments.
• You confirm you are authorised to handle the PANs and client data you enter into the Extension.
• The due-date information is provided for convenience from statutory defaults; it may not reflect extensions or your specific circumstances. Verify dates before relying on them.
• Do not store passwords, OTPs or other credentials in the notes fields.

4. Acceptable use

The Extension fills text fields, maintains your own active session and organises your own downloads. It must not be modified or used to circumvent portal security, captchas, OTPs, rate limits or any applicable law or portal terms.

5. Licence

The Operator grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Extension. You may not resell, sublicense, decompile for redistribution or share licence keys.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The Extension is provided "as is". The portal changes without notice and features may stop working until updated. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for missed deadlines, penalties, data loss or any indirect or consequential loss. The Operator's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the current licence period.

8. Termination

The Operator may revoke licences obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
