End-User Licence Agreement

In short: Resource Lens is free to use, for personal and commercial work, on as many machines as you like. You may not resell it, redistribute it or remove its notices. It is provided as is, without warranty. It collects no data.

1. Who this agreement is between

This End-User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you (an individual, or the company or other organisation you install the plugin for, "you") and Rishabh Chulet, an independent developer in India trading as Creet ("the Developer", "we", "us"). It covers the Resource Lens plugin for JetBrains IDEs, including its updates, icons and documentation ("the Plugin"). By installing or using the Plugin you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Plugin.

The Plugin is distributed through the JetBrains Marketplace. JetBrains s.r.o. is not a party to this Agreement and has no obligations to you under it. Your use of the JetBrains IDE and of the Marketplace is governed by JetBrains' own terms.

2. Licence

The Developer grants you a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the Plugin, for personal or commercial purposes, on any number of devices that you or your organisation's staff use, for as long as you comply with this Agreement.

3. What you may not do

• Sell, rent, lease, lend or sublicense the Plugin, or distribute it, or a modified copy of it, outside the JetBrains Marketplace.
• Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Plugin, except to the extent the law that applies to you allows this despite this restriction.
• Remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notice in the Plugin.
• Use the Plugin to break any law, or to infringe anyone's rights.

4. Ownership

The Plugin is licensed, not sold. The Developer keeps all rights, title and interest in the Plugin, including copyright. Your code, and everything the Plugin reads in your projects, remains yours; this Agreement gives the Developer no rights in it.

5. Third-party names

Resource Lens is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Filament, Laravel or JetBrains. Filament, Laravel, PhpStorm and other names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe what the Plugin works with.

6. Data

The Plugin works inside your IDE on the files of your open project. It does not collect, store or send personal data or project contents, and makes no network connections. See the Privacy note.

7. Updates and future versions

The Developer may release updates through the JetBrains Marketplace, and may change, add or remove features. Updates are covered by this Agreement unless they come with a new one. The Developer may in future offer additional paid features or editions under separate terms; anything you received for free under this Agreement remains licensed to you under it.

8. Support

Support is offered on a best-effort basis at support@creet.in. The Developer has no obligation to provide support, updates or fixes.

9. No warranty

The Plugin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. The Plugin's completion, navigation and warnings are aids, not guarantees: it may miss errors, and it reads only what your project's code shows. You remain responsible for testing and reviewing your own code. Some jurisdictions do not allow excluding implied warranties, so some of this section may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business, arising from or related to the Plugin or this Agreement, even if told such damages were possible. Because the Plugin is free, the Developer's total liability to you for all claims is limited to 10 US dollars. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

11. Termination

This Agreement lasts until it is terminated. It ends automatically if you breach it. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the Plugin. When it ends, you must stop using the Plugin and remove it. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

13. Changes to this Agreement

Material changes will be published on this page with a new date. Continuing to use a version of the Plugin released after a change means you accept the changed Agreement.
