Website privacy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
In short: creet.in counts visits with Google Analytics so we can see which pages are read and where visitors come from. Nothing from the website is used for advertising or sold. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland get no analytics cookies.
What this covers
This notice covers the pages of the creet.in website, including the product pages under creet.in such as /dispatch-desk/, /itr-desk/, /gstr2b/, /resource-lens/, /returns-portal/ and /pickup-points-for-packeta/. Each product (extension, add-on, plugin or app) has its own privacy policy, linked from its pages, which describes what the product itself does with data. The website is run by an independent developer based in India ("we").
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google, to understand how the website is used. When you load a page, your browser sends Google:
- the page you viewed, the page or site that sent you there, and any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source=facebook on a link from an ad). Every other part of the address after the "?" is removed before it is sent, so details such as the payment reference on the page you return to after checkout never reach Google;
- clicks on links to other websites, such as the Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons, Firefox Add-ons or the checkout page;
- your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language;
- an approximate location (country and city), which Google works out from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses;
- outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a random identifier kept in first-party cookies (
_gaand_ga_<ID>, which last up to two years) so that repeat visits are counted once.
We see the results as totals and charts. We do not receive your name, email or anything you type on another site.
Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
For visitors in these countries, analytics storage is off by default: no Google Analytics cookies are set and no identifier is stored on your device. Google receives only cookieless pings (for example, that a page was viewed), which it does not link to you. The website has no cookie banner, so this stays off.
What we have switched off
- Advertising cookies, ad personalisation and Google signals are off for everyone.
- The website's analytics data is not linked to any advertising account and is not sold.
- Analytics runs only on creet.in, not on test copies of the site.
How long the data is kept
Google Analytics keeps event-level data for this website for two months, after which only aggregated reports remain.
How to opt out
- Install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Or block or delete cookies for creet.in in your browser settings, or use a content blocker.
The website works the same either way.
Other services the website uses
- Hosting: GitHub Pages serves the website. GitHub may log your IP address for security and operations; see the GitHub privacy statement.
- Fonts: the pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), which receives your IP address to deliver them.
- Links you follow: store listings, checkout pages and other sites you open from here have their own privacy policies.
